Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show
November 8 - 10, 2013
Forest Heritage Center Museum
Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow
The Beavers Bend Folk Festival is a showcase for turn-of-the-century art and crafts. Approximately 70 craftsmen, historians, and artisans feature skills like candle making, woodturning, lye soap making, papermaking, knife making, and blacksmithing. Folk ensembles will set the mood with the twang of banjos, the wail of fiddles, and the ring of dulcimer strings as they perform a variety of old time folk selections, gospel, and Scottish American music passed down through generations. The festival is free and open to the public.
