Join the Cherokee National Historical Society for the grand opening of Dilligaw, a newly constructed 1710 outdoor living history ancient village. The grand opening activities will honor the founders of the original Tsa-La-Gi ancient village, Cherokee tribal leaders, state and local leaders, donors, Cherokee National Historical Society board members, researchers and staff who have made Dilligaw possible. Humanities scholars will be present to discuss their perspective on Tsa-La-Gi in relationship to the newly constructed town. The grand opening celebration and admission to the museum on May 2nd is free and open to the public.
