March 7, 2019 -- Depicting the Grasslands: Bison in Wildlife Art

Adam Duncan Harris, Curator of the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming, will give a lecture that will explore how Western art can help us understand humanity's relationship with wildlife and nature. Harris will examine the legacy of artist George Catlin along with other historic and contemporary artwork representing the wildlife and history of this region. 

This event is free and open to the public. All attendees will be invited to view the Bison exhibition at the conclusion of each program for no additional fee.
