Over the past 22 years, Poetry at Rose has grown to include both faculty and guest poets and is cited as one of the top poetry events in the Midwest. Along with some of the state’s most recognized poets, this year’s event will feature U.S. Poet Laureate Kay Ryan, whose collections include The Niagara River; Say Uncle; Elephant Rocks; and Flamingo Watching. Activities are free and open to the public.

2 p.m.-4 p.m., Poetry workshop with Kay Ryan
7 p.m.-8:30 p.m., Poetry at Rose readings
8:30 p.m.-10 p.m., Book signing and reception
