Event Details
Building Bridges 2.0 is a three-day conference that examines the themes of liberty, justice, and equality to discuss: 1) how the U.S. transformed from a global leader in advancing civil liberties and political rights to that of a backsliding democracy; and 2) how this transformation has impacted the social contract between government and its citizens. Presenters will discuss these issues through the lens of history, religion, law, cultural and ethnic studies. Strategies for reconciliation and peace building will be explored through facilitated community dialogues. The event is free and open to the public.
