Event Details

One of the most striking features of First Americans Museum is the earthen mound that encircles the museum campus.  The museum's architects conceived the structure as a tribute to the ancestral Moundbuilder cultures of this land.  New signage at the mound will explain symbolic elements embedded in the museum's architecture and share insights into the natural environment of the Plains that have sustained First American peoples since time immemorial.
